Please note that this tour does not include access to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. All visitors must pass through a mandatory security check, similar to airport procedures, and skipping the line is not an option. In extreme weather, access to climb the Dome may be restricted. Unforeseen closures of St. Peter's Basilica may occur due to Vatican affairs, and if so, our tour operator will contact you promptly to reschedule. Please note that the Dome option includes elevator access to skip a segment of steps. However, due to the Basilica's structure, you still need to climb steps to reach the top of the Dome. Appropriate clothing covering knees and shoulders is mandatory for entry. Finally, please note that this tour is not accessible for wheelchair users.
